Earlier this year Gigabyte expanded its BRIX line of mini PCs with two new models featuring Intel chips. The Gigabyte BRIX GB-BTIP-N150 is powered by a 6-watt, quad-core Intel N150 "Twin Lake" processor and features support for up to three displays and two storage devices, while the new BRIX GB-BRU7-255H is a higher-performance model with a 28-watt, 16-core Intel Core Ultra 255H "Arrow Lake" chip and an even more compact design.
Sometime since then the company also added two other models to the lineup: the BRIX GB-BTIP-N250 with an Intel N250 processor and the BRIX GB-BRU5-225H with a Core Ultra 5 225H chip. While there's no pricing or availability information yet, Gigabyte has posted specs for each model on its website.

While both the Twin Lake and the Arrow Lake-powered systems support dual storage, models with lower-power Twin Lake chips have a taller chassis to make room for a 2.5 inch hard drive or SSD in addition to a single M.2 2280 slot for PCIe Gen 3×2 storage, while the Arrow Lake versions have a slimmer profile and lack support for a 2.5 inch drive.
But with a much faster processor, dual SODIMM slots for up to 96GB of memory, support for up to two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4×4 SSDs, and speedier networking and USB features, the BRIX GB-BRU series systems are clearly designed for higher performance (and will most likely carry higher price tags to match).
