Apple's release of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4 includes a new Apple News+ Food feature for all Apple News+ subscribers.
Apple News+ Food provides tens of thousands of searchable recipes, featuring integrated filtering and daily content updates. Users can save favorite recipes for later use, leveraging Apple's specialized recipe format. Recipes display checkable ingredient lists with per-step quantity details, integrated timers, and a full-screen "cook" mode for streamlined step-by-step guidance.
Beyond recipes, Apple News+ Food offers articles on local restaurants, kitchen essentials, and healthy eating, sourced from leading publishers such as Allrecipes, Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, Good Food, and Serious Eats.
While primarily a benefit for Apple News+ subscribers, select content is available to non-subscribers. Apple News+ is priced at $12.99 monthly or included in the $37.95 Apple One Premier plan, offering access to over 400 magazines and newspapers like The Wall Street Journal and the Los Angeles Times, in addition to the new Apple News+ Food feature.
