Acer is refreshing its Swift Go line of thin and light laptops with two new models sporting AI-branding because… 2025, I guess.
The new Acer Swift Go 14 AI (SFG14-75/T) is a 14 inch laptop with a FHD+ display and support for up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V Lunar Lake processor, while the new Swift Go 16 AI (SFG16-74/T) is a model has similar specs, but a bigger screen. Why am I writing about a big-screen laptop on a website dedicated to little computers? Because the 16 inch model weighs just 1.6kg (3.53 pounds), making it a pretty portable computer.
Acer Swift Go 14 AI To be fair, the 14 inch model is even lighter, at just 1.39 kg (3.06 pounds). Both laptops measures about 16mm (0.6 inches) thick. The larger model does have room for a number pad on the right side of the keyboard, which the 14 inch model lacks.
Other than size though, the biggest difference between the two laptops is the screen. The Swift Go 14 AI is available with two display options:
Acer also offers two display options for the Swift Go 16 AI, but both support 120 Hz refresh rates:
Both laptops are available with Intel Core Ultra 5 226V through Core Ultra 7 258V processor options, up to 32GB of LPDDR5x onboard memory, and PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSDs. Both have 64 Wh batteries, 1080p IR webcams, stereo speakers with DTS:X Ultra audio, and support for WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Acer Swift Go 14 AI Both also have the same set of ports:
The laptops have aluminum bodies, but the 16 inch model comes in a "titanium gray" color while the 14 inch version is "steam blue."
