Most true wireless earbuds come with a charging case that lets you refuel the earbuds when you drop them inside. But the new Anker Soundcore P41i earbuds come with a case that can not only recharge the earbuds, but also a phone, tablet, or other devices.
Available now in the UK for £80 and up, the new earbuds appear to be nearly identical to the Soundcore P40i buds that sell for $70 in the US or £60 in the UK. But the new earbuds come with a larger charging case that features a status display on the front and a 3,000 mAh battery inside.

That battery is several times larger than those you'd find in most charging cases, and you can use the extra capacity in a few different ways.
Want to go off grid for a while? Anker says the earbuds get up to 12 hours of battery life on a charge, but the charging case extends your run time to as much as 192 hours before you need to recharge the case. By comparison the P40i + charging case offers up to 60 hours of combined run time.
But since the P41i case also supports 10W power output over a USB or Lightning cable, you can use this charging case like a power bank. Anker says it holds enough juice to charge an iPhone 16 Pro to about 50 percent or a Samsung Galaxy S24 to 45 percent.

Sure, there are plenty of other power banks with bigger batteries that can fully charge those phones several times over. But building this feature into a pocket-sized earbud case makes sense if you're someone who doesn't actually need a power bank often enough to carry a separate accessory… but like the idea of being able to plug in your phone for a few minutes if the battery dies at a critical time.
The case also functions as a phone stand.

As for the earbuds, they have 11mm titanium-coated drivers, support Bluetooth 5.3 multipoint connections, adaptive noise cancellation, and feature 6 microphones for noise cancellation. They're also IPX5 rated for water resistance.
There's no word on North American pricing or availability for the Soundcore P41i earbuds yet, but most of the products Anker sells in the UK are also available in the US.
