The Colorful SMART 900 is a small desktop computer with a high-performance AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 mobile processor featuring 16 CPU cores based on Zen 5 architectures, Radeon 8060S integrated graphics with 40 RDNA 3.5 GPU cores, and an NPU that delivers up to 50 TOPS of AI performance.
Colorful is a company better known for its motherboards and graphics cards than for making fully functional PCs. But the company showed off the SMATR 900 and some other systems at Computex last month. When we first reported on the PC, there weren't many details available. But thanks to a post from Chinese site expreview, now we have some more information.
expreview The computer is a bit larger than some mini PCs, with a volume of 4 liters. But that's still a lot smaller than a typical tower PC with an ATX motherboard – those can have a volume of around 45 liters.
Inside the SMART 900's anodized aluminum body, there's a mainboard with AMD's most powerful Strix Halo processor attached, as well as LPDDR5x onboard memory. There's no information about internal storage, but the system also has a set of ports that includes:
TechPowerUp also snapped some photos at Computex that show the system also has at least three video outputs including what I think are a mix of DisplayPort and HDMI ports, along with an Ethernet port, audio jacks, and an AC power adapter.
