Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Tiny Gen 2 is a mini PC with up to Core Ultra 9 285 and NVIDIA RTX A1000

The Lenovo ThinkStation P3 Tiny Gen 2 is a desktop computer that measures just 179 x 183 x 37mm (7″ x 7.2″ x 1.5″) and weighs just 1.4 kg (3 pounds).

But while most mini PCs feature mobile chips designed for laptops, Lenovo's second-gen P3 Tiny supports up to a 65 watt Intel Core Ultra 9 285 24-core processor, up to 128GB of memory, and up to NVIDIA RTX A1000 graphics. Lenovo says the little PC should be available for purchase starting later this month.

Lenovo hasn't announced how much the ThinkStation P3 Tiny Gen 2 will cost yet, but the company plans to offer a wide range of configuration options including 35 watt and 65 watt Intel Core Ultra 5, Core Ultra 7, and Core Ultra 9 Arrow Lake processors, as little as 16GB of RAM, and a choice of two GPUs:

NVIDIA RTX A400 (4 GB GDDR6)

NVIDIA RTX A1000 (8 GB GDDR6)

Both GPUs are single-slot graphics cards with a 50W TGP and 4 Mini DisplayPort 1.4a video outputs.

The computer has two CSODIMM slots for DDR5-5600 or DDR5-6400 non-ECC dual-channel memory and three M.2 slots for storage: one with support for PCIe 5.0 and two with PCIe 4.0 support.

Ports include:

1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C (20 Gbps)

5 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (10 Gbps)

1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (5 Gbps)

1 x HDMI 2.1

1 x DisplayPort 1.4 + 4 mini DisplayPort 1.4a (when configured with NVIDIA graphics)

1 x Gigabit Ethernet (Intel I219-LM)

1 x 3.5mm audio

There's also optional support for additional ports including Thunderbolt 4, VGA, serial, and additional Ethernet ports, among others. And some models also come with an Intel BE200 wireless card with support for WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
