Most phone makers release one or more new models every year, but Dutch social enterprise company Fairphone is different than most. While the company does try to make money from its phones, profit isn't the only thing that matters – so does sustainability. Fairphone's devices are made with recycled, fair trade, and conflict-free materials when possible. They feature a modular repairable design. And new Fairphone models don't come around all that often.
Usually the wait time is at least two years for a new model – the longest wait was nearly four years between the launch of the Fairphone 2 and Fairphone 3. But now it looks like the Fairphone 6 could arrive less than two years after the Fairphone 5. Leaked details including pictures, pricing and (some) specs are starting to make the rounds and the phone could launch later this month.

After launching Photoshop for iPhone earlier this year, Adobe has launched a beta of Photoshop for Android. It includes tools like selections, layers, masks, spot healing, and AI-powered generative fill, but doesn't have all the features of the desktop apps. arstechnica.com/gadgets/2025…

Nothing Phone (3) launches July 1st. After recently hinting that the Glyph design with a series of LED lights on the back of the phones was dead, the teaser also hints we could see some sort of dot matrix-style features on the new model. x.com/nothing/stat…
