ACEMAGIC F5A is a Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 mini PC with OcuLink and WiFi 7

The ACEMAGIC F5A is a mini PC with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Strix Point 12-core, 24-thread processor featuring 16-core RDNA 3.5 graphics and an NPU that delivers up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. The little computer supports up to two PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs and has two SODIMM slots for up to 96GB of DDR5-5600 memory.

If all of that sounds familiar, that's because it's also true of the ACEMAGIC F3A that launched earlier this year. But the new model is a little smaller, has an improved cooling system, and has a few bonus features including support for WiFi 7 and an OcuLink connector for higher-speed connections to peripherals like external graphics docks.

ACEMAGIC says the F5A will begin shipping September 10th. Customers who pre-order before the end of August can use the coupon ACEFANF5A to get $130 off their purchase, which brings the prices down to:

  • $639 for a barebones model
  • $779 for a model with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD
  • $1099 for a 64GB/2TB model
  • Versions that come with memory and storage also have Windows 11 Pro pre-installed, while barebones models ship without an OS.

All models feature a set of ports that includes:

  • 1 x OCuLink (64 Gbps external PCIe 4.0 x4)
  • 2 x USB4 (40 Gbps)
  • 3 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (10 Gbps)
  • 1 x USB 2.0 Type-A
  • 2 x 2.5 Gb Ethernet
  • 1 x DisplayPort 2.1
  • 1 x HDMI 2.1
  • 1 x 3.5mm audio
  • 1 x DC power input
  • One thing to keep in mind is that ACEMAGIC says the OCuLink port does not support hot plugging, so you'll want to power down the computer before connecting or disconnecting an external graphics dock or any other peripherals to the OCuLink port.

    The computer measures 132 x 130 x 61mm (5.2″ x 5.1″ x 2.4″) and features dual fans and an SSD heat sink.
