Lilbits: Another dual-screen handheld game console, a DIY Windows 98 “handheld” and Snapdragon’s slightly-faster Snapdragon 7S

The makers of the AYN Odin line of handheld game consoles has revealed that its next model will be a dual-screen model with a clamshell design. In other words, the upcoming AYN Thor will go head-to-head the the AYANEO Pocket DS, ONEXSUGAR Sugar 1, and Retroid Dual Screen add-on in the small but growing field of dual-screen handhelds.

While AYN hasn't revealed detailed specifications for its new dual-screen handheld yet, a short teaser video suggests it'll have a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, RGB backlit analog sticks, a fan for active cooling, and all the other features you'd expect from a modern gaming handheld. Give the company's history with ARM-based handhelds, it will also most likely run an Android-based operating system. And a promo image shows that the primary display is a 6 inch, 120 Hz OLED display, while the smaller second screen is a 3.92 inch, 60 Hz OLED display.

Here's a roundup of recent tech news from around the web.
