Samsung's Galaxy Tab S11 series tablets are expected to launch in the coming months, but before that happens the company is squeezing in one more Galaxy Tab S10 series device.
As expected, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is designed to be a lower-cost alternative to other tablets in the lineup while still keeping core features like support for Samsung's S-Pen stylus. I haven't seen US pricing and availability information yet, but the new model should be available in Europe starting September 4 for €399 and up, which makes it about €100 cheaper than the Galaxy Tab S10 FE.
So while the new tablet isn't exactly cheap, it may attract folks who are looking to save a little money and don't necessarily need the best possible performance.
That said, Samsung did cut some corners to get that lower price tag. The display resolution is a little lower. The processor is significantly less powerful. The cameras aren't as good. And the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite has less RAM than other members of the Galaxy Tab S10 family.
