The LattePanda IOTA is a single-board computer that's just a little larger than a Raspberry Pi 5. But with an Intel N150 quad-core processor onboard it should deliver faster CPU and graphics performance, as well as broader compatibility with a wide range of software and operating systems.
It's the latest in a line of LattePanda devices with Intel processors, and while it's not the highest performance LattePanda system available, it does offer a good mix of price, performance, and compact size. The LattePanda IOTA is available now with prices starting at $129 for a board with 8GB of LPDDR5-4800 memory and 64GB of EMMC storage, or $172 for a bundle that includes a WiFi module and cooling solution.

There are also higher-priced models with up to 16GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The $172 price tag might seem a little high for an Intel N150 single-board PC, considering you can buy a fully functional Intel Twin Lake PC (with a case, power supply, storage, and operating system) for around that price. But it's worth keeping in mind that the LattePanda IOTA is designed to be more of a platform for hardware and software developers than it is a standalone device made for the genera public.
Each version of the little computer measures 88 x 70mm (3.46″ x 2.76″) and features a set of ports and connectors that includes:
There's also a GPIO header with UART, I2C, and USB 2.0 connections, a Raspberry Pi RP2040 co-processor, and support for LattePanda add-on boards that extend the system's functionality by bringing support for features like an M.2 M-Key for storage, a 4G LTE module, Power Over Ethernet, or an uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
At the heart of the system is Intel's N150 processor, which is a cheap, low-power chip based on Intel's Twin Lake architecture. It has four CPU cores with support for frequencies up to 3.6 GHz and Intel Graphics with 24 execution units and frequencies up to 1 GHz. The TDP can be adjusted to run as low as 6 watts or as high as 15 watts.
