Lilbits: Kodak’s camera for your keychain, GPD Win 5 pricing, and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

The Kodak Charmera is a little camera designed to look like a classic single-use camera from the 1980s… but smaller. Like, small enough to fit on your keychain. This new $30 camera is also reusable – it's a digital camera with a rechargeable battery that uses a microSD card for storage.

With a $30 price tag, it's not surprisingly that the Charmera isn't exactly a good camera. Odds are that you can take much better pictures with any smartphone released in the last decade. But as the name suggests, it's really designed to be more of a charm that you can clip to a keychain or bag, which makes it kind of impressive that it can record photos or videos at all.

Here's a roundup of recent tech news from around the web.

KODAK Charmera is a $30 camera that fits on your keyring and shoots 1.6MP photos or FHD video at 30 fps. It's more of a collectible than a useful product though, and comes in seven different colors & styles. www.engadget.com/cameras/koda…

Qualcomm's follow-up to the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip for flagship phones is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Why not Gen 2? Because it's the 5th chip since switching to single-digit names. Last year's name was the anomaly , I guess. www.qualcomm.com/news/onq/202…
