Just a week after a report suggested that Samsung is scrapping plans for a second-gen Galaxy "Edge" phone due to low sales of the Galaxy S25 Edge, it looks like Apple may be scaling back production of its ultrathin iPhone Air for similar reasons. Maybe people aren't as happy to trade battery life and features for something thinner than an already-thin smartphone after all?
In other recent tech news from around the web, more companies are stuffing AI into web browsers, hoping that's a thing users want, and there are at least two kits coming soon that will let you turn a LEGO Game Boy into a playable retro console soon. Both will be hitting crowdfunding sites soon.

At least two kits that let you convert LEGO's Game Boy model kit into a fully playable handheld game console are on the way. One is coming to Kickstarter Oct 28, but it only supports emulation. A kit that supports original cartridges i s likely coming later. www.theverge.com/news/805376/…
