The AOOSTAR MACO470 is a mini PC with a small aluminum case featuring a fingerprint reader on top, an OCuLink port that can be used to connect an external GPU dock, and an AMD Ryzen AI HX 470 Gorgon Point processor inside.
AOOSTAR unveiled the little computer earlier this month, and now ITHome reports that available for purchase in China for 5299 CNY (about $770) and up. It's expected to be available in other markets soon.

AOOSTAR is positioning the little computer as a solution for setting up an OpenClaw personal assistant, but that's not surprising as a bunch of Chinese mini PC makers have been jumping on that bandwagon over the past few months.
No matter how you plan to use the system though, AMD's Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 mobile processor should be able to handle a wide variety of workloads. It's a 12-core, 24-thread chip with Zen 5 CPU architecture and Radeon 890M integrated graphics with 16 RDNA 3.5 GPU cores. It also features an NPU with up to 55 TOPS of AI performance.
In the MACO470, that chip is paired with support for up to 32GB of LPDDR5x-8533 memory and support for up to three PCIe 4.0 x4 SSDs thanks to three M.2 slots.
Ports include:
The OCuLink ports enables a 64 Gbps high-speed connection graphics docks or other devices that support the external PCIe 4.0 x4 cabling standard, while the USB4 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports should allow you to connect a wide range of peripherals.
Unfortunately, since the system uses LPDDR5x memory that's attached to the mainboard, RAM will not be easily user replaceable. That means there won't be an option to buy a cheaper barebones model and use RAM you may already have lying around.
