The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Edge is a laptop with a 16 inch, 2880 x 1800 pixel, 120 Hz AMOLED touchscreen display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite (X2E-88-100) processor. It’s also the lightest weight of Samsung’s Galaxy Book6 series laptops, coming in at just 1.55 kg (3.42 pounds).
But the Galaxy Book6 Edge is also an expensive laptop – prices for the entry-level Galaxy Book6 currently start at $1250, while the Galaxy Book6 Pro starts at $1800. But the Galaxy Book6 Edge sells for $2100.

While that’s still a lot cheaper than the $2900 price tag for a Galaxy Book6 Ultra, it’s still a lot of money.
What you get for that money is a laptop with 16GB of LPDDR5x onboard memory and 1TB of eUFS storage, both of which are soldered to the mainboard and not user-replaceable. The notebook has quad speakers, dual microphones, a 2MP webcam, and support for WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Ports include two USB 4.0 Type-C, one USB 3.2 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, a 3.5mm audio j ack, and a microSD card reader. The Galaxy Book6 Edge features a backlit keyboard with a number pad and a large, clickable touchpad.
Other features include a 61.8 Wh battery, 65W USB Type-C port adapter, ambient light sensor and hall sensor, and a fingerprint reader.
The notebook measures 355.4 x 250.4 x 12.3mm (13.99″ x 9.86″ x 0.48″) and Samsung is making portability a key selling point, but the Snapdragon X2 Elite chip is also made for AI, with up to 80 TOPS of local AI performance. The processor also feature an 18-core CPU (with 12 Prime cores and 6 Performance cores) with support for frequencies up to 5 GHz, 53MB of cache, and an Adreno X2-90 GPU that tops out at 1.7 GHz.
