Lilbits: ZimaBoard 2 pocket-sized server is coming, Alexa+ Early Access is here, and more Copilot+ features roll out to Intel and AMD PCs

Four years after launching a single-board server with an Intel Apollo Lake processor, the makers of the ZimaBoard are preparing to introduce a new model. The company hasn't provided detailed specifications yet, but the design, expansion slots, and processor have all been upgraded for the upcoming ZimaBoard 2.

In other recent tech news from around the web, Amazon is rolling out an Early Access program for its Alexa+ AI-enhanced virtual assistant software, Microsoft is bring more of its AI-powered Copilot+ PC features to systems with Intel Lunar Lake and AMD Ryzen AI 300 chips. The Google Pixel 9a has a firm release date, and leaked pictures of the unannounced Pixel 10 Pro Fold show that it looks… almost identical to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

The makers of the ZimaBoard palm-sized single-board server are preparing to launch the ZimaBoard 2 with a new design and upgraded performance and expansion slots. Other details are still shrouded in mystery.

Amazon launches Alexa+ Early Access for customers in the US with Echo Show 8 or larger devices. It uses generative AI for natural language conversations, personalized experiences, and more. Free for Prime members, it'll cost $20/month for anyone else.

Microsoft brings Copilot+ features that had been exclusive to Snapdragon X PCs to models with Intel Lunar Lake and AMD Ryzen AI 300 chips, including Live Captions, Cocreator in Paint, Restyle Image and Image Creator in Photos.

Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold leak shows a phone that… looks a lot like the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It'll have a Tensor G5 processor and could feature a slightly thinner design. It could launch in August.

Google gives more precise launch dates for the Pixel 9a: The mid-range phone will be available in the US, Canada, and UK on April 10th before rolling out to additional countries starting on April 16th.
