Earlier this month UGREEN introduced a power bank that it said would be the first to support 25 watt wireless charging thanks to support for the new Qi 2.2 standard. But it looks like it will have a whole lot of company when it arrives.
The Wireless Power Consortium says that hundreds of phones, receivers, transmitters, and other devices are in the queue for certification for the new standard that it's rebranding as Qi2 25W.
I other recent tech news from around the web, Amazon is buying a startup that makes an inexpensive wearable AI gadget that transcribes and summarizes what it hears, Google has (most likely accidentally) revealed the design of its entire Pixel 10 smartphone lineup, and the founder of CrackBerry (and co-founder of the Clicks keyboard case for modern smartphones) wants to make a phone… and is hoping to get the rights to use the BlackBerry name for it.
Qi2 25W wireless charging is coming to iPhones and "major Android phones" soon. The Wireless Power Consortium says 14 devices, receivers, and transmitters have already completed certification testing, with hundreds more on the way. www.businesswire.com/news/home/20…

This tiny gaming PC is made from a MeLE Quieter 4C pocket-sized fanless PC, a 5 inch, 854 x 480px IPS LCD display, and a 6-key keyboard. Not all games work, but some are surprisingly playable. But overall this is an unlikely use case. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vukd…
