This week AYANEO announced it was suspending new pre-orders for its first handheld gaming PC with an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 Strix Halo processor because the rising prices of RAM and storage made it unsustainable to continue selling the AYANEO NEXT 2 without raising prices on the already-expensive handheld priced between $1,999 and $4,299.
But it's not just AYANEO's most expensive device that's affected by the rising cost of components. So the company says that it's taking action on other models, and that some "may be temporarily discontinued once current inventory sells out." Whether any of these models will return in the future, though, remains to be seen. RAM and storage prices are expected to stay high through much of 2026 and into 2027.

Earlier this year AYANEO also offered a surprise gift to customers who were unpleasantly surprised when they found out that the AYANEO Pocket S Mini would have a smaller-than-expected battery. Customers could either cancel their orders or opt to receive a free Pocket Air Mini. But now the company says that offer will end on April 1st.
Prices for some other AYANEO products that remain in production are also expected to increase, but AYANEO hasn't yet provided details about which models will be affected or how much prices will rise.
